Thank you for shopping with Red House Needleworks. I want you to enjoy choosing a chart as much as you enjoy stitching it. Please read the details below before placing an order, and contact me if you have a question.

Charts and supplies

Each listing states whether you are purchasing a printed chart or a digital PDF. Fabric, floss, frames, and other supplies are included only when the listing specifically says so. I take care to show each design clearly, but screen colors and printed colors may vary slightly.

Digital downloads

Digital charts are delivered electronically. No physical item will be mailed. Please check that your email address is correct when ordering, and save a copy of your file once you receive it.

Because digital files are available immediately, digital purchases cannot be returned or exchanged. If you have trouble opening or downloading a chart, please contact me. I’ll be glad to help.

Printed charts and shipping

Shipping charges and available delivery options are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and may change after an order ships.

If an order cannot ship within the stated time, I’ll contact you with an updated date and the option to cancel for a refund. Please double-check your shipping address before placing an order.

Returns and damaged orders

If you change your mind about a printed chart, contact me within 5 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the chart must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless I sent the wrong item or the item arrived damaged. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable for a change-of-mind return.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and a photograph when possible. I’ll work with you to make it right.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a printed order, please contact me as soon as possible. I can cancel and refund it before it ships. Once it has shipped, the printed-chart return policy applies. Digital orders cannot be canceled after the file has been delivered.

Use of Red House Needleworks designs

Purchasing a chart gives you permission to stitch it for your own enjoyment or as a gift. Please do not copy, share, upload, or resell the chart or its digital file. If you would like to use a design for a class, kit, or other commercial purpose, please contact me first.

The original charts, photographs, written instructions, and other original content published by Red House Needleworks may not be copied, shared, uploaded, sold, or distributed without written permission. When you purchase a digital chart, you may print a copy for your personal stitching use. Please do not share the file or printed chart with others.

Some designs are inspired by or reproduce historic needlework. Red House Needleworks claims copyright in its original charting, photography, and written content, not in the antique samplers themselves.

You are welcome to stitch a design for yourself or as a gift. Please contact me before using a chart for a class, kit, or commercial product.

A Note About AI

Every Red House Needleworks chart is imagined, designed, and created by our lead designer. AI is NOT used to design patterns or place stitches.

When a stitched model is not available to photograph, we may use the “stitched view” from our design software to show how the chart will look when completed. Some listings may also include an AI-generated mockup to suggest how the finished piece might look stitched and framed. We identify AI mockups in the listing and take care to preserve the original design.

The chart you receive is always the design shown in the listing.
